For those of you that don’t know what a #QuickDrawCollab is, here is the summary of it:
It’s an event where a couple of artists get together to quickly draw what the audience asks them. It’s the illustrator’s version of improvised theater, and it can be quite fun if you knows the artists and want your fan-fiction brought to life. It’s a great way to get to know your favorite artists and meet new ones.
Hope you had a nice time this end of year, and we wish you a awesome new year in 2018!
We’ve had a good year and reached most of the milestones we set for our selves so we want to take this opportunity to thank you, the fans for all your support!
And since it’s a new year I thought this would be a great time to share this with you. Some of you have already seen similar guides before, others have not.
So just a reminder of how the industry works and why supporting your favorite indie artists is so important. They usually don’t have safety nets and do this out of passion. And at the end of this year I have seen many artists give up or get burned out and I must say the thought of closing up shop has passed my mind too, but I have people around me who still support me and so, I am still here. ^_^
So for those that don’t know these things, please have this list in mind next time you see your favorite artist post your beloved content.
Hi everyone! I’ve recently updates and enabled a lot of the art prints in my Society6 shop. S6 has made more items available for print so I’ve enabled and updated a lot of my best sellers there. Let me know if I missed a print you wanted and I will make it available.
Hope you are having a lovely summer. We had some floods were I am and it’s pretty cold now and I know some of you are deign of the heat wave and exams and jobs and so on but we’re still holding the #ColorMeCollab \(^o^)/ to hopefully brighten your day and give you something relaxing to do.
This round is one me. I made this illustration for a fan of mine, she won the artwork in one of my #HisameOCL art giveaway events. And I’m currently at 2 Facebook likes or 14 Youtube subs away from starting a new Hisame Original Character Lottery. You can go and bump up the numbers if you want to speed up the event start, if you haven’t liked or subscribed already. (~_^)
And you can join our Facebook group to take part in the event or just check out how we colored the linearts. There really aren’t any rules to this, just fun! And anyone can join.
Every Friday I feature some of the products, services and machines I use in my projects. Let’s help each other find the best things for our hobbies or businesses! \(^o^)/ Use #HisameReview to find more recommendations.
Ok so this week I’m reviewing the new tipping feature from Tapastic and conclusion is:
it’s AWESOME!
Bellow I’ve made a little visual tutorial to hopefully better explain to you how it works:
And bellow you can see the tips GamerCat‘s creator is making in Tapastic, I love GamerCat so I’m super happy to be supporting Samantha Whitten (the creator). All tips are public and you can’t tip yourself but you can tip others. The tipping feature is only available on the app version of Tapastic.
Hope I’ve answered your questions, but if you have more questions feel free to ask!
And thank you very much to all those who have tipped me, it is a great help to get these tips. Now I can finish all the projects I have faster and keep going with future projects as well.
Hi, and welcome to my page if you’re new and welcome back if you’re an old follower!
So people have been asking me what is Patreon?!
Well the answer is : “Patreon is a crowd-funding platform popular with YouTube content creators, musicians, and webcomic artists. It allows artists to obtain funding from their fans or patrons, on a recurring basis, or per work of art.” – Wikipedia
So Patreon is basically it’s an ongoing Kickstarter, but instead of funding one big project, it finances the continuous creation of episodic content like songs, animations and comics.
You can pledge as much as you want per month or just make one donation , and like Kickstarter, different pledges come with different rewards. There are also milestones that will unlock extra content if enough people contribute every month. If you want more information about being a patron, you can check out Patreon’s Patron FAQ.
And my first goal is to raise enough money to hire a programmer to help me make Ernest’s story into an RPG video game. You can read his story here:https://tapastic.com/hisameartwork
If you have any more questions or suggestions feel free to leave them in the comments bellow or you can contact me on Facebook and Twitter.
*And as always likeing and subscribing/following helps the channel grow! You can show your support for your favorite content creators by sharing their work!
Hi everyone! I’m happy to announce that I’ll be reopening commissions once I reach 1k followers on Tsu! If you didn’t already know, Tsu is a social platform that rewards original content and its creators similar to how Youtube and Tapastic do. So join me there for exclusive content and prizes.
I’ll also be setting up my Twitch Alerts so you can support me by donating as well, this will go into funding my upcoming video game , a RPG with Ernest the Blue Bunny . I will use your help in paying the programmer. Until then you can just go to Tsu and donate there. There will also be a support program on Twitch to reward your dedication by means of giveaways for milestones reached in the pledge program.
